Growing a Monstera plant does not require special treatment but this plant does have problems with the plant leaves turning yellow or brown as well as developing brown spots. I also noticed that the pot didnt have a draining hole so I carefully made a 15 hole with a knife. Monstera leaves also turn yellow from lack of lighting and therefore in winter it is necessary to put a container with a flower near the window oriented towards the south.

Monstera deliciosa also called the split-leaf philodendron and Swiss cheese plant is a popular houseplant with distinctive split and perforated leaves.

Im thinking that maybe the pot is too small but Im scared to repot it and stress it out more. Keep your Monstera a few feet away from an east or west facing window as these provide enough light without being too harsh. For example in the attached image that growth has been in that exact state for a month. Keep in mind that after a leaf develops it will not change.
