Monstera For Indoor. Monstera Deliciosa likes moderately moist soil and bright but indirect light making it perfect for indoor care. As the Monstera Deliciosa is hardy in USDA zones 10 through 12 it will thrive year-round in warm humid weather.
The delicious thing is its spathe which becomes a fruit when it matures. Being smaller in size than Monstera deliciosa makes them quite suitable for indoors. A relative of the philodendron and pothos a monstera loves to climb up trees and can grow quite large even indoors.
As far as potting media for Monstera deliciosa goes I like to use a good potting mix such as Miracle Gro Indoor Potting Mix but I also like to mix in some 3 size perlite.
But for our indoor monsteras we need to provide them with something to climb. There is also a slight difference between their stem structure leaf size and even the price. The plants on the other hand manifest similarities that can be easily seen in the leaf structure and root system. Misting placing a humidifier nearby or using a pebble tray are great ways to boost humidity for your plant.
