The Monstera Deliciosa is part of the Araceae family thats native to tropical forests of Southern Mexico. This genus inhabits the tropical regions of Central and South America. These impressive plants are also tolerant of the occasional missed watering making them ideal for inexperienced plant parents.

Common names are enormously confusing and I always refer to this plant by its botanical name genus species Monstera deliciosa.
